The word Yukata usually refers to the light weight robe worn at home after a bath or the cool and often colorful kimono worn by women and men at summer festivals. Yukata fabric comes in rolls approximately 14" wide and 13 yards long. One roll traditionally makes one Yukata kimono. This fabric is wonderful in quilts, art to wear and garments. Traditional striped Yukata Specialty Fabrics:
The thread in this fabric is first hand dyed and then the fabric is woven. These come on rolls approximately 13 yards long. The fabrc is approximately 14" wide.
