Furoshiki are traditional wrapping cloths. They are used as fabric gift wrap to enhance gift giving or something to carry things in. We have over ninety designs but only the most popular are shown here. Some of the designs are copies of famous wood block prints or Ukiyoe dating back to the 1700's and 1800's. They depict the "Floating World" of the geisha, Kabuki or scenery. They are great quilted, in art to wear, pillows and especially in wall hangings. In this category of wrapping cloths the size is approximately 26 3/4" square and they are all silk screened on rayon crepe.
